Provident Fund | Check Your Provident Fund (PF) Balance Through SMS, Missed call & UAN

Provident Fund: - Every employees get the benefit of the provident fund in the company where they work and every month some of amount as decided by government is deposited in the Employee Provident Fund account. 

Balance of PF account can be checked online. The amount which is deducted from the salaries for EPF is equlas to amount which is deposited to EPF by the parent company of employees. These amount is important when you need it. You can check the balance of PF account in many ways. Let's know what these methods are,

With the help of SMS

Users can also check the balance with the help of SMS from their phone when the Universal Account Number (UAN) is activated. Follow these steps to Check Your Provident Fund (PF) Balance:-

- Send EPFOHO UAN to 7738299899 with your registered mobile number associated with UAN.

After this, you will receive an SMS from EPFO, which shows your PF balance.

With the help of Missed Call

You can also check the balance with the help of missed call with the Universal Account Number (UAN). Follow these steps to Check Your Provident Fund (PF) Balance:-

- Give missed call on + 911122901406 from registered mobile number

After this you will get SMS regarding PF balance.

With the help of UAN

PF balance can be checked with the help of Universal Account Number (UAN). Follow these steps to Check Your Provident Fund (PF) Balance:-

- UAN should be activated to check balance. If the Universal Account Number is not activated, then activate it first.

- Visit the Member Passbook page on the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) website.

- Login here after filling your Universal Account Number, Password and CAPTCHA.

- Now the EPF account will be open and check the balance after clicking on the Member ID on the left side.
